Umbrella Farms — Attraction in Brookings

We’re so happy that new owners have taken on the care and development of this lovely property. We enjoy spending some part of our Saturdays by visiting to browse and shop plants, gift shop, sourdough bread, and/or coffee. There has been live music and additional eats in recent weeks. Impressively, the owner takes time to interact with patrons and make a point to welcome each person whenever possible. They have developed this space to welcome and Include all generations. This farm is being renovated into a creative space for the community to gather. It is looking amazing after a lot of TLC from the owner Michael, who currently sells flowers in pots.

Lovely location. The owners are very thoughtful. I had the pleasure of visiting when they hosted a Women in Business function. The owners are dedicated to supporting small businesses and our local economy. As a gardener and a self professed hoarder of houseplants, I can attest that their plants looked healthy and fantastic.
