Well maintained grounds, perfect for a walk either on paved or grassy surfaces. A large astroturf section for sports, fenced in children’s play area, and benches for chill times. The parking lot is small, thankfully, so the area is always peaceful.

Beautifully manicured grounds with plenty of fenced-in play structures for kids up to 10. A covered picnic area for snacks. A soccer field next door and scenic paths for walking. The steady breeze keeps the bugs away.

Pros: Very large artificial turf soccer field. Public restrooms. Playground for small kids. A few winding paths to do laps around the park. Plenty of parking. Cons: Poor tree cover, which means the park can be very windy. No shade means hot days feel extra hot. No trees to block the wind mean cold days feel extra cold. The sun exposure is so good, I wish the town had planted more beds of flowers or vegetables around the park. Several of the developing trees are in poor health and could use the attention of...

Beautiful spot on top of a hill. Kind of windy. That would be nice on a hotter day. Turf soccer field was in very good condition, although slightly sloped on one end. Nice play area with covered picnic tables. Paved walking paths. Pubic restrooms that are handicapped accessible. The amount of parking at the top of the hill near the fields is a little small when two games/ 4 teams overlap, but there was overflow parking at the bottom...

Brought my dog here on a long leash. He loved running around the hills! Then we found a path in the woods that was also super exciting. We steered clear of the playing field but I am sure that would be fun to bring kids to. And I saw a number of people walking the path for exercise. I didn't see any off leash dogs, so that was a plus. And it was windier than elsewhere so probably...
