So awesome I just ran across a post and photo of the Memphis Kiddie Park. Unreal to say the least. I was taken here when I was just a little guy about knee high to a grasshopper. In fact, I took my own son there when he was little as well. This brought back so many fond memories from my past. I Loved playing on there put-put course with family and friends throughout the years. I actually pulled in there approx 4-5 years ago and my lady friend and I got on the Big/Little Dipper and took it for a joy ride. That little roller coaster may give you a mild case of whip-lash but it provides a wonderful memory that will last a life time. I am actually so happy to continue to hear, etc, that this wonderful little amusement park is still opened to the public and In A Loving Way, I hope it never does close down. It's a cheap and inexpensive way to bring countless laughs to children and Life- Long Fond Memories For Many Of Us To Hold Onto. It's now September of 2023 and I am now in my 50s. My friends, Where has all of that time went too? Reminds me of an older song that Cher sings, "IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME"! THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO MADE KIDDIE PARK A REALITY AND A DREAM COME TRUE. GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF...
Read moreI really like this cute toddi park! The way the park is ran, like everyone is so friendly and inviting. I will definitely visit again. I asked the lady at the ticket booth where we could get on the train ride and she was so polite. It’s like I could walk up to any of the workers and hold a conversation about anything (that’s how us southern folks do it-southern hospitality)… Seriously though, I’m amazed at the professionalism and warm welcoming we got. Parking is literally a few feet away from the fun, so convenient and it’s free! When I arrived , I wasn’t sure where to go and there’s a woman standing at the entrance greeting everyone. She gave me all the info a first timer needed. And boom, we were on our way to the ticket booth. It’s really inexpensive and lots of fun. I love the fact that I can get on some of the rides with my twins 😂, perfect! I could t get many pictures bc I was busy having fun! The food? So my kiddos saw the sponge bob ice cream sticker over at the food area and that’s what they wanted. I also ordered nachos with cheese and hot dogs. It felt like I was at the carnival or something. The food...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting Memphis kiddie park and it was a good time. I’m not certain of pricing for tickets as we were here for a birthday party so we were given wristbands from the hosts. What I can say is the wristband is good for two hours. We were able to get on everything twice in that time frame. All of the rides are “kiddie” friendly where they are able to get on them without adults. So if you don’t have an adventurous little one I’d recommend bringing a buddy for them to ride with so they aren’t scared. Also another plus that entry is free. You only pay for what you choose to ride on. That’s right grown ups; if you don’t wanna ride you are free lol.
The concession prices are typical of amusement parks. Typical food options; hotdogs, popcorn, nachos and slushies. I’d imagine on a weekday it’s not as crowded as it was today but even with it being busy; we weren’t in lines for than 5-10 mins. All the staff that we interacted with were kind and helpful getting the kiddos in and out of rides. Overall I could see myself...
