We stopped here with our dog since we've seen this park from I-80 plenty of times, and we thought it looked quaint! So, the actual park itself does not allow dogs. Which of course we thought was just not nice! But there is a sweet man made waterfall. There also is a suspension bridge for foot traffic which leads you to a picnic area and from what we could tell a decent trail that does allow dogs. We walked/ ran with the pup for about a mile maybe a little more. Also, there was a dog poop bag dispenser at the front of the bridge and trash bags along a paved path from the parking area to the suspension bridge.

Great place to visit if you enjoy nature. Being close to interstate 80 it can be loud, but the nature sounds are still there with birds, water, etc. There are lots of places for kids to play, and it is a safe area. It was easy to find and lots of parking spots.

Nice borough park on the North Fork. Swimming, picnic shelters, playground, catch and release trout fly fishing, trails and a swinging bridge. Spoiled only by the road noise from both elevated lanes of I-80 high above.

Very nice park except for the fact that it is below and between two Interstate 80 bridges so there is constant loud traffic noise. But the creek is nice to walk along or to sit by on one the benches. We saw two deer (til a loud water truck came by and scared them) along with various birds. If you cross the suspension bridge over the creek there are trails that run alongside the creek and there were many people fishing in various spots. It is apparently also open for swimming in the warmer months when a lifeguard is on duty and it looked like there was a building that housed snack food but was...

Traveling on I-80, I have driven over this site for many years .. and always thought was one of the nicest views. Yesterday decided to get off at the next exit and found this location. Was a perfect place to stop ... took a little walk to the low head dam and enjoyed the sounds of flowing water . Enjoyed the trip through Brookville .....Loved driving through "Small town America" ... Will make this a regular stop to grab lunch or dinner and to take a break from...
