Great park, fenced in with plenty of room for dogs to run. Park at the boat launch and it's a short, paved walk to the park. There's two separate areas for small and big dogs. Water fountains are turned on when weather is warmer. Waste stations are available to pick up after your pups. Avoid weekends and evenings if you prefer a less busy environment. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that the directions were wrong on Google maps. We had to ask someone in the neighborhood who was kind enough to tell us.

Been going for seven years and with two different dogs. Keep an eye on the park rules because some don't. Kids a certain age are not allowed in. It gets crazy on the weekends when it's under eighty degrees. People tend to bring their kids into the dog park to play ball and that's not right. It's a dog park not a playground for them.

Very large fenced area. Separate area for small and large dogs. Clean, grass with some bench seating, walking path along a river. It is a quarter mile (at most) to the dog park. The GPS does NOT find it and sends you on a wild goose chase. You have to come down Water Street to the end (or ask locals, that's how we found it!).

Traveling through town, what a wonderful dog park!! Dogs were able to get out of the truck , walking a short distance on a great pedestrian and bike path. Then two large fenced in areas next to the river, one for large breeds and another for small. We met several wonderful fur babies and their pet humans ❤ The dogs played for over an hour several water spickets and shade trees. Highly recommend going weather you live nearby or Traveling through. The views of the river...

This is an excellent spot to take your dog(s)! Free onsite parking, paved pathways, and friendly locals. The dog park is within the "Androscoggin River Bike and Pedestrian Path". You'll cross paths with bikers, runners and most likely some kids. (There is also a soccer field next to the dog park.) The dog park has separate sections to divide large and small dogs....
