Brownstone Reserve — Attraction in Bryan

Brownstone Reserve quickly and effortlessly became an undoubted "YES" for us when we met Mandy Burlin. When we arrived for our tour in April 2021, Mandy's friendly smile and hospitality put smiles on my husband and I's faces right away. We were needing to have a space for our bridal party to get ready and needed to have just our reception at their location. Brownstone Reserve was NO comparison to the other venues we had toured. We felt right at home, we felt seen, heard, and known, and not just like another number to Mandy and Joey. This venue not only is BREATHTAKING at all sights, but has the flexibility to meet all your needs and desires. They have access to indoor or outdoor, the bridal sweet gave me chill bumps the first time we walked into it and I definitely had a happy tear or two in my eyes. There is a Man Cave that we loved because we wanted a more elegant look and not an all out rustic/country barn style, Brownstone Reserve is the perfect combination of elegance + beauty + class. There is no other venue like it in the Bryan/College Station area. The mahogany wood bar is gorgeous and the chandelier filled ceiling is astounding. There is a special peace you feel when you walk outside the venue, there is a beautiful bridge in the back leading to the wedding ceremony space and the surrounding water gives the space a familiar feeling that just feels like home. Whenever we return to the Brownstone Reserve I know our hearts will be filled with Joy remembering what an absolute gift our experiences were there. Joey Brown was punctual with emails and communication as was Mandy. Mandy went above and beyond to ensure everything we needed and wanted was taken care of. Brownstone works and refers you to other vendors and the process is seamless. These vendors have been working alongside each other for sometime now, and it was an absolute gift to have security, food, drinks, DJ, and photographer all on the same page due to the previously initiated communication by Mandy, leading up to the big day. Mandy was just a phone call away and because of her experience with coordinating and decorating her time and efforts were a Godsend. Be yourself and let God lead when you walk into Brownstone, it could be the perfect match for you just as it was for my husband and I. I was so excited to get married here and now after my experience with choosing this venue based off of all the great reviews I saw here ( reviews made from years ago) I would say I regret choosing brownstone reserve as the place I chose to get married at. I contacted the owner right after my wedding and they were nice but ultimately the “manager” had an excuse for where things fell short and did not seem to understand how their actions play a huge part in someone’s special day until they are told by the customer so and then excuse it by saying “it’s not their full time job” to manage the venue just something they do also. However they will offer their full undivided attention for any need you have if you pay them for “coordinating” services to have during your event, even though the manager themselves forgot to show up at the venue for a tour of it when they are the one who schedules when to meet at the venue, but they had fell asleep after their “ main job”. After my wedding and speaking with the manager after my wedding and addressing all of my concerns I had she apologized but still reminded me this was not her “ main focus” since she has another job but she does apologize. Absolutely stunning!We were absolutely blown away by the level of service given at Brownstone Reserve for our wedding. Their attention to detail, and their fantastic venue made sure that our wedding day went perfect without a hitch. From our first phone call with them, they made sure to put all of our concerns at ease. Their incredibly friendly staff were a joy to talk with, and they made us feel at home from the first moment we walked through their door. Their ceremony site is surrounded by beautiful majestic oak trees that gave the perfect amount of shade for our guests during our ceremony (always an important concern in Texas!). The two natural ponds just behind the venue give a peaceful and beautiful setting for all kinds of photography. Everything from their massive and elegant doors, to their two beautiful curved staircases and exquisite bride/groom suites made this venue a must for our wedding. We are full time wedding photographers, so we knew many venues in the wedding industry. But Brownstone Reserve took to our hearts from the first time we saw it.
