Beautiful and wonderful view, it so many more as soon as you get close to Glen canyon as it shows in the pictures, remember that to get in you'll find a national park station that will chargue you 35$ but you can buy the year membership for 80$ and get to other parks close by, another recommendation if you have a little car don't get in into the part that doesn't has road, you you'll get stock into the sand and getting the car out of there is not fun lol...

The site is at the summit above a deep canyon. There is a rest room available. The valley and, indeed, the exploration of the huge area is well explained in two signs. It is a fascinating story of Powell's discovery and mapping project back in the late 1860's. Well worth a stop but for goodness sake, don't let the kids go beyond the little stone wall. It's a long, long way down...

Beautiful views, what’s great spot to stop and take it all in. I was intrigued that this area was the last section of the United States to be explored and mapped. It’s such a significant area. Do stop and take a look around, read the boards, it’s so interesting.
