Honestly pretty disappointed. Been wanting to check this trail out for years and guess i should have before they started running natural gas along it. The work has apparently ruined the drainage making many areas very muddy and no joke you can smell the natural gas in a couple spots. You can park at the map marker if there is a spot, it's a small run turn around only big enough for about 4 cars. There's a mid-way lot of masons mill that holds 6. Or you can park at the pennypack trail lot of byberry. Masons mill business lots are also nearby in a pinch Parking: gravel, limited Terrain: gravel and mud Markings: none Dog friendly: reluctantly allowed Elevation gain: minimal Length: ~1.5hr Tick risk: moderate Poison ivy risk: minimal Peopleyness: high Natureiness: moderate Maintenance: poor Connections: pennypack trail, pennypack preserve, pennypack ecological trust, lords new church grounds

Really nice outdoor trails right in the middle of everything - there are a ton of different paths and locations you can park all the way around the trail network. Very comfortable walking and wide trails - very well maintained and several sitting areas around the trails.

No real paved trail it was basically mud. About a half mile in we seen all these markers for underground gas pipes and we started smelling natural gas. Due to the mud we couldn't walk the length of trail so we turned back. There was only enough parking at the spot we went in at for five cars also. We won't be going back to...

I really enjoyed the walk with my toddler son . He could run and I didn't have to run far to catch him cause it's such a straight away he doesn't feel like he's getting far lol. But we love to walk and this was a nice walk but went on for a while so I turned around lol didn't finish the trail but it was nice...
