I went to the Vampa museum without knowing much about it. We saw a sign for antiques and pulled in and knew that there would be cool vampire art inside a building and thought maybe we could shop. Definitely a place for art lovers and antique shopping and also so interesting the history. I am sensitive to energy and wasn’t expecting any kind of spiritual interactions while there. I felt some excess energy with my hands coming from inside the vampire kits, and realized it was emanating from the old books inside of them. Mostly bibles. I walked the first room with the Vincent Price chair and am a huge fan and thought it was such an interesting piece. Started feeling a little funky there, thought someone was walking behind me but no one was there. Had a super uncomfortable feeling there and kept seeing some kind of burning herbs or plants in my mind in there. Then turned and saw that I was walking past a room that said “cleansing room.” And I was like oh maybe they do something weird down there idk hahaha Liked through the one hallway and noticed that giant doll looking directly at me from the dolls areas and I looked at the sign next to it and was like nope and kept walking. Then the angel room I felt much more peaceful, and also felt good in the main room. The owner didn’t seem surprised at all when I told them how I had been feeling, and asked me if I felt better I the angel room which I had. I came home and started reading about the place and found an interview where the owner was sharing how some sensitive people had come in and felt odd energy which ended in the angel room. Which was my experience. There were also a couple energy patches in the barn area over some objects and one area particularly. All in all, there is some really beautiful things in there and some very interesting history and oddities. There is definitely some kind of energy in that space, but that is to be expected any place with a lot of peoples personal belongings when you’re sensitive. Is it demons? Maybe not. Is it still creepy and interesting and worth visiting? Absolutely.
Pro Tips: The owner seemed like such a lovely man with good stories, and talking to him adds to the place. The lovely young lady who helped us at the barn was very informative and welcoming. Talking to her also adds to the place. Go on a day when Peacocks are out. That’s the one thing we didn’t get to see. Take extra money to shop for antiques. We didn’t come with enough and there was...

Read moreThe Vampa Vampire & Paranormal Museum is not just a collection of artifacts—it is a portal to the macabre, where history intertwines with the supernatural. Today marked my first encounter with this hauntingly unique place, and it felt as though I had stepped into a realm suspended between the mortal world and the otherworldly. Every item on display whispered dark secrets of vampires, demons, and spirits, each one beautifully showcased with chilling precision. The descriptions, though brief, were densely packed with fascinating details, captivating even my restless mind, which often struggles to focus due to ADHD. Yet here, I couldn’t tear my eyes—or my thoughts—away.
The artwork on the walls was more than mere decoration. It seemed to pulse with life, as though the very soul of the artist had been captured and preserved. It spoke to me in a way I can only describe as otherworldly, sending chills down my spine.
And then there was Abigail, the resident spirit. She made her presence known in subtle yet unmistakable ways. The lights flickered ominously, as though she were toying with us. Near the doll exhibit, I felt an unmistakable tug on my coat. I turned, but there was no one there. Was it Abigail reaching out, or some other unseen entity? Whatever it was, the air grew heavy with a sense of the paranormal.
The museum’s connection to vampires was equally enthralling. Here, the myths and legends of these nocturnal predators are treated not as mere fiction, but as echoes of a darker, hidden truth. From ancient texts to eerie artifacts, every corner of the museum seemed alive with the essence of creatures who defy death itself.
I left the Vampa Vampire & Paranormal Museum feeling awed as though I had been touched by something beyond comprehension. One thing is certain: I will return to this haven of the mysterious and macabre. Perhaps next time, the spirits will have even more to share. The myth of the...
