HORRIBLE Went last summer it was bad. Poor electric & water sites narrow campers on top of each other. Group of people camping in center partied all weekend. Nothing was done. Never saw camp host, was told they were gone most weekends and if they are there they go to bed early, so anything can go on. Nothing to do! Pay extra for bands & pool. Was told it would be better this year. But came back again and it is all tore up! Can't camp in the reg campground unless you want to camp without water electric or sewer. Last yr we were told they would be installing sewer, but they're only redoing the water and electric, no sewer. They do have a dump station you can use. Have upper campground, go up steep curvy narrow road, horrible for rvs, More for tiny campers or tents, But on top of all this, they Jacked prices way up for this year! Hateful rude lady with short curly hair (wish I had gotten her name) in office on weekends. After how she talked to us, we wouldn't stay and won't go back. so be forwarned! We did drive our car through the available camping area, small and tight, difficult to navigate a big rig. Very few campers there. We have been coming a couple times a year, esp for events, and have made a lot of friend with locals that camp there all season. Only saw 1, several have sold their campers and others are camping elsewere. Its a shame they are letting the campground go down so much and losing a lot of business! For what they're now charging, you can pay a little more and get a high quality campground with things to do. Here there are no activities, no game room, outdated pool you pay extra for. They have a lot of rules that aren't enforced. Guess this place is ideal for just someone traveling and pull in at night and leave early the...

Read moreGlen Maury Park is a spacious, quiet and safe park for locals and travelers to enjoy. In addition to this it's the best RV campground we've stayed at in Virginia. We paid $19.40/per night with the Passport America member card.
We camped in the off season in the lower section of the campground and there were only a handful of other RV'ers camping. The electric and water we're turned off in the upper section of the park for the season. We had electric and water at our site both were good, park has a common dump station by the bathhouse.
Bathhouse was open and fairly clean. I will say in the women's section that the 2 showers closest to the front door are out in the open. The 2 toilet stall doors face the showers so if you don't mind this than it's not a problem. There is also a handicap toilet and shower in the back of the women's side.
Since it was off season we had lots of space to the left and right sides of our coach and very little noise. The railroad noise didn't bother us a bit.
We're on the T-Mobile network and the cell signal was very weak. Luckily the park's WiFi was strong during our stay.
Campground is within close driving distance to shopping,...
