Good place except for most weekends during the summer where it gets so packed and busy with a ton of boats on the water. So many boats it is too dangerous to let your kids tube or ski behind boat because of the high chance somebody will run over them. It's a small lake so it get easily crowded. The crowd usually has everyone playing their own music on their sound systems and at very high volume so that all you hear is Tejano music over lapping country and rock and it just all ends up as noise. Forget about trying to fish, again, too crowded, too noisy, rude visitors, and WAY too many boats at one time. If you want to have any chance of enjoying the lake, you go during the week, no where near a holiday, and hope everyone is busy going to work and not crowding up the place and hurting your ears with their chaos. Especially steer clear of folks drinking out there on the bank during the weekend, I have seen several fights break out at different times during different weekends, but always seems to be some bunch of folks that have been drinking...
Read moreWant do you get for eleven dollars a person. Then an extra dollar to swipe a card. I have a hard time believing there is not enough card use. I have been to a lot of parks ln 25+ states and the cost person is expensive. The fish are stock by the state, law enforcement is the county, concession are private. I guess the law of no texting is not map reading as you drive. The county is really printing safe driving with area with children!!! I have work in parks and refuges for 20 years so do not say ,...
