Dale's Ridge Trail — Attraction in Buffalo Township

This is a nice trail only minutes away from Lewisburg. It is a clearly marked and well-maintained trail. Depending on which way you go to get to the loop, the trail is fairly easy. If you start on the trail that goes along Buffalo Creek, there will be a short section with a steep incline up some switchbacks. A beautiful trail located just minutes outside of Lewisburg, the Dale’s Ridge Trail runs for over 2 miles along a lime bluff over looking the scenic farmlands along Buffalo Creek. There is a very short section of switchbacks to get on top of the ridge from the trail following the creek. The hike is easy and there are many opportunities for stops at the several vistas along the trail. This is definitely a nice little excursion for a nice walk in nature...

Great short trail, about 2 miles long and can be done in a loop. Has a couple a nice farm land overlooks. If you do the trail counter clockwise, you have a good short climb that'll get your heart rate up near the beginning. It starts along buffalo creek and then journies up into woodland and farm fields. Great walking or running trail. Good for birding, too. It's my go to trail when I need a woods fix and can't make it to R.B. Winter...
