The Winery at Hunters Valley — Attraction in Buffalo Township

Hunters Valley not only offers a spectacular view of the valley and the susquehanna river but the atmosphere is very pleasant and the wine is tasty. My husband and I love the Summer Days wine when they make it for the season and always make it a point to head up and buy a few bottles. Their other wines are very good and they have a wide selection of different types whether you enjoy sweet wine, dry, Fruity, a good cab or even a wine slushy. I love supporting this local winery. They are very friendly and professional and the winery itself has been improving over time with their offerings. Their outside areas where you can sit and sip wine and enjoy the view is very nice. Attended Thursday night Bingo at the winery. First time there so was a little hard to see the driveway in the dark. Did not know to preregister as Facebook Event did not specify. Was able to pay at the door in Tasting Room. Held in Event Center, which was a separate building, but just down the walkway. Smelled a little musty. Had to walk outside to detached bathrooms. Clean & heated in December. $12 + tax Price included a 5 flight sampler. Prizes were filled stockings, but no wine as prizes, which was disappointing. Was suggested by other attendees to try the Twelve Days of Christmas wine sampler ($55 + tax) and the Chocolate Covered Cherries wine (only came in a mid size bottle for about $12). This winery was absolutely gorgeous. The view is exquisite, and I can imagine it would make for a great wedding (we actually inquired while there for pricing!). It's kind of tucked away in the middle of nowhere, but so glad we made the drive. Parking is easy and plentiful. The prices are decent, and they have events as well like bingo. The bathrooms were clean, and interior was pristine. You get 10% off for 6+ bottles (will not confirm nor deny if we purchased this many).
