The Rexis side of Vintondale is a great place to start to walk, hike, or bike East or West on the GTT. You can also go North along the North Branch of Blacklick Creek to Belsano, PA from the Rexis/Vintondale trailhead. Adequate parking and beautiful scenery abound along Blacklick Creek. The Vintondale to Wehrum (pronounced 'where-um') section of the Ghost Town Trail traveling West does not disappoint. Read moreParking at Vintondale I was able to ride a loop north by following the Rexis Branch towards Vic Miller Trailhead, then over US route 422 and down to Nanty Glo where I was able to ride up to Blacklick Elementary School turning onto Railroad St where the trail has yet to be finished down into Nanty Glo.
