What a beautiful park with amazing hiking trail that leads to the catch and release pond (great for learning how to fish), the rock formations makes it a fun exploring site for my kids, the playground structures are very cool and has lots of activities options, not to fond of the broken rubber mulch around it. There is a dog park next to the playground, so it's nice to watch dogs playing while the kids playing too. There is a big pavilion on top of the hill and few picnic tables near the playground & dog park. Ample parkings nearby. From the playground parking site, we drove down towars the end of the other parking spots for the hiking trail to save time and avoid heat from the sun ( it was a beautiful sunny day) It's nice and shady along the rock formations hiking trail. We didn't do the whole loop, just the fun shady part near the pond. Absolutely gorgeous view from the top of the hill, this is a great find for local retreat, photo ops, birthday party, fishing(catch and release only), yoga retreat or even just to enjoy the breeze under the trees while lying down...

Read moreLooking for places to hike/ruck with my dog. Came across this site on Google. Very nice park. Appreciated the signage on maintaining dogs on leads. Would like to suggest maybe more signage to be posted , as we came across a couple with 3 dogs ,2 of which WAS NOT on a lead. One of the owners was having a hard time controlling one of the dogs, which kept approaching my Service Dog. My boyfriend was standing in front of me and I am in front of my dog. Protecting my dog from the unleashed Dog. Would like to remind people, PLEASE control your dog, follow and obey the rules. Also be mindful of ALL dogs and their owners. You dont know what has happened to other walkers and their dogs. As for my situation, my dog was attacked by an unleashed dog , and i am protecting him with my body, as well as my boyfriend. We will continue to do our hike/ruck as this will be our therapy, and hopefully WE can heal/recover from our trauma . We ARE ALL out here to enjoy these beautiful parks and taking in Mother Nature and God's wondrous works of...
