CrossBridge Community Church — Attraction in Bulverde

My family and I have been attending Crossbridge Community Church (a 2nd Acts Bible believing and practicing church) for 11 years. Although first attracted by its focus on families, we have found that the real gift of this church has been our incredible spiritual development of real and practical tools that help us connect with those we come into contact with daily and live out the purpose that we were created for (to love God and love others). We have learned how to find real freedom from the traps of this life. Further, I love that we are a low debt/no debt congregation. Instead, we are committed to giving often over 30% of our monthly funds to local and global missions where we have commissioned missionaries to connect our body of believers to others around the world and we regularly send groups from San Antonio to go and minister in...

Had bad experiences at this church and would not recommend it. Some people do not have the character for leadership and it shows here. I'm speaking specifically of the Katie the Young Adult and College Coordinator who is the daughter of Brian Hannas Pastor of Leadership Development. If I had an apology for her behavior toward me, I wouldn't even be writing this comment now. Be aware of the leadership here as they will make excuses for their own and turn a blind eye. Her and her father both talked down to me as if their "authority" at the church meant they had authority over me as a person who was testing the waters of this church. Is God real? Does He exist outside of our lives, or does God even care about humanity? I found the answers to be "Yes"! God is real, and you can start a dialog with Him today. Crossbridge is a great place to learn how to have a friendship with God. It's not about rules & dogma. It's about knowing God through the Bible, friendship with others, and direct relationship with Him. Visit on Sunday, but more importantly, visit one of the many small groups that meet in your neighbors homes. The small groups are where things get real, and God goes from an idea to a person.
