Quite a unique "small town playhouse" experience!!! Dinner and a play!! The Bulverde ladies make all of the food HOMEMADE! Served cafeteria style, soups, meatloaf, ham, chicken tetrazzini (entrees vary), mac n cheese, vegetables, beans, vegetable and fruit salads, slaw, pies, cakes, cookies, and strudels...all homemade! And for $10 a plate. Byob or wine. The venue is one room with buffet dining as you walk in and the dining room backdrop is the elevated theatre seating for, maybe, 200 people; delightfully intimate setting. We saw Ring of Fire...all Johnny Cash music and history to a sold out house! This experience makes for great dinner conversation for days to come. No place quite like it. Google it and get tickets for an upcoming show. Support these local playhouses🎭🎼 The drive there meanders through the pleasant little town of Bulverde. Take...

Absolutely delightful community theater! Already in 44rd season. We went to Waiting for McArthur which was fabulous!!! The theater offers home cooked pies, cakes and cookies before the show and during intermission. Super yummy. Things you might not take the time to bake but will take you back to your grandma's kitchen. They even have berr and wine. and Stadium searing. So all great views. Comfy chairs and sofas to relax before the show and during intermission. Super helpful staff. 3 doors, so all parking is close by. We are already looking to bring guests next weekend. I try to come here every time they put on a play, 3-4 times a year. No matter the genre, whether it's drama, comedy, thriller, or musical, I have enjoyed each play. The seats are comfortable, the homemade desserts (a variety of cakes, pies, and cookies) are delicious and inexpensive, and served before the performance and during intermission. The place is intimate, making any moving scene even more powerful. 'A Trip to Bountiful' is what I saw Thursday night Feb. 16th; I never saw the film, but this adaptation was funny, poignant, and...
