Crapo Park was created as an arboretum in 1895 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. There are 2 play areas, tennis courts, and the city swimming pool is adjacent to the park - as are local Little League diamonds and a dog park. Lots of walking paths, shelter houses, a horse-shoe pitch, a lovely fountain that is lit up at night, the bandshell which hosts the local muni band every Sunday through the summer, a terrific river view and historic trails along the bluffs. The park itself includes multiple different areas to cater to the community: disc golf course, skate park, multiple shelter gazebo, band shell, multiple playgrounds, the list goes on.
