Burnsville Lake — Attraction in Burnsville

Good place to swim. The beach is within a few yards from the parking lot & easily accessible. The restrooms and showers were clean /near the beach/ 1 to 5 minute walk depending on which end of the beach you're situated. Stumbled on to this hidden gem after the Summersville Lake parking lot was filled to capacity on 4th of July weekend.Same day this beach was well under capacity. Be sure to bring a debit or credit card to purchase a ticket at the automated machine at the entrance ..a park ranger comes and will write a citation if you do not leave your pass on the dash of your vehicle. $5 per vehicle. I will definitely repeat even though it's further than Summersville...
