I loved this trail. We did the 12.5 (and back)of the ghost town portion but it links up with the hootlebug trail and you can continue on another 20 miles once you reach dill town. Easy trail to ride and very wide with some historical sites along the way. We will return to do the hootlebug section next time. There is a brewery on that trail as well.

Rode from Saylor Park/Trailhead to Dilltown and back. It was about 25 miles. Trail is beautiful, there is the history along the trail and the flora and fauna. The Black Lick Creek is still damaged by the mine drainage, nevertheless I find it a picturesque and enjoyable ride.

Wonderful parking lot at western end of the 36-mile long trail to Ebensburg. There’s plenty of spaces for shuttles or vehicles with trailers. In season restrooms, ball fields. No food or drinks (other than water fountain)

Tons and tons of history with mining and you guessed it....ghost towns you can find old maps online where the towns where and what was all there it's pretty neat I like going there specially at night because it's spooky only bad experience I had was when I was riding my bike further down the trail a huge wasp decided it didn't like me flew twords me and stung me and refused to elaborate then a few more miles same day we found a area with a supposedly flooded mineshaft and I stepped on ground hornets nest and got stung up like crazy but I still managed to have a good time and even now I laugh about that day because it was so random haha. But seriously if you ever go here look up the history it's...

Oh man its a spooky place! Just kidding 🤣 I couldn't tell you much about it as i was on my way to Pennsylvania and lots of places i dont recall much and just rode through on the bike trail. I had to stop a LOT actually to charge devices, find places to sleep, let my engine cool down, refuel and lots of times breaking down! I couldn't ride at night because it was just too dark and the battery powered light wasn't even close to being bright enough in pitch black dark wooded areas. I just didn't have the power to run the needed lighting. Anyways I still had fun on my trip despite all the...

Awesome trail. We did the Ghost creek half marathon, it was located there. The race started at the park where there was ample parking and areas for prep. The trail is hard pebble, very comfortable on the feet for a long run. It is a gorgeous trail with lots of sun and shade. We did 13.3 miles a there and back. There is one bathroom house along the way to be used. The trail is all...
