Pine Ridge Park is a beautiful park that is well maintained. I take my dog walking there. (Remember to keep a leash on your pet) The scenery is beautiful. Lots of woods, creeks and a few paths/trails. They also have 3 pavilions there that you can rent for special occasions. The park has a large playground and a smaller playground, volleyball net, corn hole (corn hole bags provided) and Disc Golf. Nice place to stop and eat your lunch. Peaceful and beautiful park.

I was a little disappointed that some areas are only open if you have reserved them, so don't expect to see the lodge or the pond. The part you can visit is nice for a quick trip but not worth taking all day to get to. The best part was seeing a ton of swallowtail butterflies at the creek. That was a beautiful site, but I'm afraid we didn't enjoy ourselves enough to warrant the drive again.

We love it here! Sometimes make multiple trips a week. The atmosphere is inviting. There's a stream that runs through the entire park. Hearing the flowing water & wind flowing through the treetops helps you really connect with mother nature! 💚 🍃 🌿☘️

Nice little park in a valley, good picnic areas with charcoal grills at various spots. This park is one of the best around during the summer when it's hot, most of the park is covered by natural shade.

There is a larger play area with swings and a volleyball/badminton net, and farther down the road a smaller area for little kids that is very removed for the big kids area, great for those that have just smaller children, a little harder for those with a mix of ages.

The scenery is beautiful, the drainage and some features done in stone instead of concrete gives things a very nice aesthetic.

Only down sides are that the play area is long overdue for some mulch. The bathrooms, while relatively modern for outhouses, could be cleaner: the men's "room" was flooded, and the urinal had much in debris in it. Wear good shoes when visiting vs sandals.

Still, the soothing sounds of the stream next to the picnic areas and relaxing atmosphere were spot on.

With the steam so near the play areas, bug repellent is highly recommended for those that tend to attract mosquitos.

Also suggested that if you are visiting with children, bring change of shoes and clothing as well as towels just in case, kids tend to not resist the temptation...

Pine ridge is a pretty little park. Several nice playgrounds, pavilions w/electric that you can rent and semi-real bathrooms. There are a lot of nice trails to walk and a small creek that runs through stuffed with crayfish for your kids to catch, so take a container. One of Indiana counties top 8 places where your kid can experience some wildlife but close enough to grab a happy...
