After spending over 10 minutes shopping for National Park Service items such park map books, NPS badge for my kids etc we were told we couldn’t buy anything. The National Park Service items and everything else for sale are ran by a 3rd party. There is a contract dispute between that 3rd party and the NPS resulting in people not being able to buy anything. I can understand that but the center is as big as a shoebox with 3 people working there. One of them could have told us we couldn’t buy anything before we tried to check out.
