Staff was kind & helpful. Park is always very clean. Tons of stuff to keep little ones occupied, and lots of hiking trails and things to explore for the older ones. You will learn a lot about nature! There are binoculars and special outdoors backpacks you can rent out for special adventures. Lots of cool taxidermy and also live reptiles/amphibians/insects/fish. In the late spring and early summer, all the flowers are bloomed and leaves on the trees, there is wildlife EVERYWHERE... it's beautiful and amazing. The big tree house and "creaky shaking bridge" are always a hit with the kids. They do tours and events if you watch their social media you can find some cool stuff to do all summer long! My kids and friends and family all adore this place. We always make it a point to leave it cleaner than we found it. I tell each child they are a "nature helper" and I have them pick up any trash we find along the way. There are trash cans and porta-potties for use. A butterfly garden, vegetable garden, and greenhouse. I HIGHLY recommend this preserve/nature center, if you are interested in spending the day outdoors. It's especially helpful on moms who need to wear their little ones out a bit ๐ I also recommend hiking boots or sturdy sneakers. Be ready to walk, pack a snack and some water, pull a wagon if you need to. And stop at the gift shop on...
