This is a well maintained and safe park that features security cameras for safety and often has workers around if you are looking for a secure place to walk alone or in groups. It is dog friendly as long as the dogs are on a leash with several dog stations spread throughout. There are areas for kids to play on playground equipment or in any of the sports fields. They have a pond for fishing or for feeding the ducks. The trails are all flat and one lap around all of the trails is just under 2 miles. They have picnic areas with multiple covered pavilions so you can have a picnic no matter the weather. A trail runs around the perimeter, for the most part. There is also a pond usually having ducks, fish, and or turtles. A ampitheater stage is located near the pond. Open spaces and plenty of soccer fields are plentiful. The only drawback is that there are only port-a-ports available. This may turn just a few away.
