Butner Athletic Park — Attraction in Butner

This is a great park and we always enjoy our experience when playing here. My son plays travel baseball and we have played here several times. The set up where the playground is in the center of the park where you have a view of every field is perfect. I can let my toddler play with other children while I watch my son play ball. The concession stand is very nice. It's big with a covered shelter and plenty of eating space. Great menu choices with very reasonable prices. The field crew takes excellent care of the fields. Great concessions - chicken ranch wrap, burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, breakfast sandwiches, Sno cones, candy, and more. They have power at each field if you need to plus in a speaker or charge a phone. Covered eating area right next to a playground if you have a kid playing ball and others that need to be entertained. Great Ball field! We're here for Fall Travel Baseball but there was soccer going on too. Batting cages. Two playgrounds. A nice concession set up. Large AIR CONDITIONED bathrooms with plenty of stalls! Shade trees set up very nicely all around the park. Fencing around the fields are free of fence slats so you can see all around to watch the game wherever you sit! Such a great ballpark! It's far from home for us but definitely a pleasant surprise!
