Puente de Piedra is a hidden natural wonder! Just a short walk from Faro Los Morrillos, this stunning natural limestone arch carved by the sea is one of the most impressive rock formations on the island. It’s a quiet spot with breathtaking views of the Caribbean and dramatic coastal cliffs.

🗺️ Location & Access: The Stone Bridge is about a 5-10 minute walk from the lighthouse. The trail is unmarked but visible, just follow the cliffside path west of Faro Los Morrillos. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes as the terrain is rocky and uneven.

Perfect for:

Photography lovers (sunrise/sunset views are magical)

Nature enthusiasts looking for something off the beaten path

Adventurers wanting a peaceful, scenic escape from the crowds

Best trip combined with a visit to Faro Los Morrillos and Playa Sucia

⚠️ Visitor Tips:

No guardrails, use caution near the cliff edge

Bring water, hat, sunscreen, and bug spray if staying late

Visit during daylight hours for best visibility and safety

Bottom line: If you’re in Cabo Rojo, don’t miss this hidden gem! Puente de Piedra is a quick detour with jaw-dropping views and a quiet, untouched atmosphere. A must-see for photographers and...

Hola!

Hello! I had the opportunity to visit the iconic Puente de Piedra in Cabo Rojo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This impressive natural arch is a geological wonder that stands out for its beauty and majesty. Located next to the lighthouse, the bridge offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea and its surroundings. Accessing the bridge requires a short hike, which adds a touch of adventure to the trip. The trail is relatively easy and surrounded by local vegetation and wildlife, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destination itself. Upon arrival, the sight of the natural arch, sculpted by the sea over thousands of years, is absolutely stunning. The view is incredible; my seven-year-old child absolutely loved it. It’s truly amazing how nature can create something so beautiful and majestic. I recommend visiting Puente de Piedra in the morning or at sunset to avoid the intense heat and enjoy perfect lighting for photos. Additionally, wearing proper footwear, bringing water, and using sun protection is essential to make this visit a comfortable and pleasant experience.

In summary, Puente de Piedra in Cabo Rojo is a must-visit destination if you are traveling to Puerto Rico. Its natural beauty and the tranquility of the surroundings make it a perfect spot to relax, take stunning photos, and connect...

What an amazing view. Such an honor to be able to walk these lands, and climb onto the furthest point of the southern side of the island. If you follow the path, go to the right and the water way opens and you can get in. There is a little cove cave. But if you wanna swim to the point on the left, be careful and be a good swimmer. I did it. Its a good time. And you can swim under the bridge. And you can climb out using the rocks that kinda look like a ladder. Now, I will tell you... you have to walk quite a bit of way to get here. And the walk is TERRIBLE. It smells like dead fish, rotten eggs and sewer together. Horrendous. And why is that? Idk. I feel like bc the water has receded and only the stench of death lingers?? But beware, its a journey to get there. But when pass this, it's beautiful and doesnt smell at all. And its...
