Went to the Cherry Hill Farms Caldwell Corn Maze (Oct 12), we will not go back!

We ordered our tickets through their website and when we went to check in, the person at the counter had no idea what to do... after a long wait we finally got checked in. We were handed a "game" card to go through the maze and we were off. The game was played using the GPS on your phone to locate punch stations to help eliminate "whodunit". After spending 90 minutes in the maze we were very frustrated. (We have done many corn mazes in the past so we are not new to this game.) The GPS didn't line up, some locations were missing their signs, and it turned out that the short kid-route had no clues in it at all and this game was "mostly for the kids" according to the people who took our tickets. While in the maze, we crossed paths with a family with a small child and the mother told us that they didn't even get a "game" card.

Before we left, we politely tried to talk to the manager on duty, sharing our frustrations with her. Her only reply was that the GPS was to blame. We tried to explain to her that we stopped using the GPS and started to only use the map provided on their signs (we took a picture.) We reiterated that at some locations on the map we only found a small red flag in the ground. The manager was not willing to take any responsibility that there might be a problem.

Before we checked in, we took a look around their fruit/novelty items stand and we planned to purchase many items after we completed the maze. As you can probably guess, we left empty-handed. We had already wasted our money on the poorly designed maze so we were not going to support this farm with any more of our hard earned money.

There are other corn mazes in the local area that have a much better layout, friendlier employees, and provide a much happier...

This was an amazing experience. We went on a field trip, with our school, and there was so much to do for the kids. Yes the corn maze can be a little tricky, but if you stick with it you can figure it out. Some GPS’s are slower but as they said the internet can be spotty, not their fault. They have a cute little petting zoo with baby bunnies and miniature ponies. Great addition to what we experienced in the past. The Cherry pit pit was great, I was afraid that my daughter was playing in sand and I looked closer and it was cherry pits!! My kids had so much fun!!They even have a play set for the kids and a crafting table for the littles. Next was the kiddie train and my kids rode it 3 times. It takes you through the orchard where you can see their amazing orchard trees. There is a sling shot, where you can launch apples at a target. The kids thought that was the coolest thing ever!! Next the fruit stand/store had so many amazing items. From canning to cherry juice to apples, peaches and peppers and they make fresh donuts, apple slushies and sundaes. You can’t get any better than that! Last but not least the go carts are a great addition. I love supporting a local family run farm. Kudos to an amazing...

I wish I could leave a zero star review. I went to the Field of Screams and it was literally one of the worst experiences I have had ANYWHERE. We were told to show up a half hour earlier than the time we bought tickets for, so we made the 40 minute drive from Boise and arrived at 7pm. We then proceeded to stand around for an hour. There were two staff that looked like teenagers that gave no direction or update on what was happening. They kept saying "They are getting it set up now." At 8:05pm, we were told we could finally walk down the road where it starts. We then proceded to walk through the corn "maze" which was really just an uneven path with ropes tying off the direction you were supposed to walk. The actors were literally children (probably seven years old), I probably saw a total of two adult actors. We walked through the field in about 5 minutes. I would have asked for a refund if I didn't want to waste any more time standing around there. I still don't know what they were getting "set up." Total...

Overall a great time. I prefer it to most places simply because it had toddler friendly areas. All of my children enjoyed our visit. They had a pumpkin patch, corn maze however as others have mentioned the gps was lagging, i really enjoyed picking apples, the cherry seed pit was great for the toddlers, the rides were fun. I like that there wasn't a huge crowd and enjoyed the low key vibe. One suggestion.... If you have animals that people can hold and pet (rabbits) please maintain their nails or put caps on them. My hand got brutally shredded and I was bleeding pretty bad. My concern is disease transmission. Hepatitis C can live on a surface for 2 weeks. If the bunnies are repeatedly mauling people back to back this could be a concern.

My husband and I brought our 3 kids and we had such an amazing time. The fun farmer game throughout the corn maze was so entertaining for the kids. At the end, we got apple cider donuts and a slushee, which I ended up going back for seconds before we left. Cute little area in the front for the kids and adults to hang out, along with fires at the end of the night! The staff was so kind and helpful too. 10/10 for us, we’ll be back every year.

WOW! The most amazing tart cherries ever! I pre-ordered a 5 gallon bucket. Super easy, all pitted and ready to process. It is a rare opportunity to get this type of cherry, as they are only available one week each year. These amazing cherries make the BEST pie filling, compote, sauces and jams. I will order more next year. This weekend they have "Tart Cherry Days" where you can buy them. Amazing customer service (thanks Maurina!) 10/10
