It wasn't much for a big play area(they did have an ok playground). However it was BEAUTIFUL bc you could walk right up to the water's edge of the Thornapple River, like it was right level with you almost. They have a big open area for dogs or kids to run. Also you can walk quite a lil ways along the river. We even found shells. HOWEVER on the flip side the only downfall was that the water is so close. I have a 3yr old and it was a little nerve wrecking. So now I know next time to bring our "Mommy & me together bungee strap. Very peaceful, despite it being by a busy intersection.
