Beautiful venue. Quaint, rustic feel with nature all around you. The trees, natural rock and peaceful creek with the pavilions and string lights make for a very nice backdrop for your special event. It’s Historic & charming with a privately owned waterfall and a 16 foot custom made waterwheel that’s a nice touch. There is a very nice creek side pavilion along with a bridge with a nice waterfall. The outdoor capacity is 200 indoor is 175. Ive included photos of both. The price range varies quite a bit with a variety of packages to choose from with several options for indoor/outdoor ceremonies receptions and more. There’s a covered patio that has options for closing to use during the cooler Alabama weather. This place is beautiful during the holidays. You could have a modest event here that would still be very nice for a very basic budget or you can go all out and have a night to remember with a larger budget like for a marriage and reception. An average budget would be $20,000 They are pet friendly ( with strict guidelines) They have a suite onsite for lodging. You must request and schedule a tour if interested in checking it out. It is located in Clanton, which is a must stop for anyone driving north or south on 65- because they’re known for the BEST peaches, peach ice cream and fried peach pies. Your guests won’t mind the drive to this wonderful venue due to its many perks. It’s a little less than an hour drive from Downtown Birmingham, and a little less than an hour drive from Downtown Montgomery and about an hour and a half from Tuscaloosa. It’s about an hour and a half from Auburn. They accept cash or check with a policy that rarely accepts credit cards. If they do, there’s a 4% service fee. The vendor/food/alcohol/ cake/ service guidelines are the per the usual venue specs. They are great to work with planning your...
Read moreVenue was beautiful. Staff on the other hand made the experience less then it should have been. One worker had her child running around the entire time. Even during the entrance to the reception the child tried to run in front of the bridesmaid. Then they dressed the child like she was the flower girl which she was not. The kid was running around the entire time. On top of that we arrived at 1240. The bride had to use the restroom and was greeted with attitude. Being told “we don’t open until 1” after all the money that was paid for this event 20 min shouldn’t matter for her to use the restroom. Y’all are supposed to make it about her. It’s her day. It’s just unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend it. After the bride stating she wanted no cell phone pix of her wedding there where people that worked there taking pix while their kid ran around right behind the guest. I was so disappointed in how they treated this...
