I visited this side on Wednesday morning, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous all day. The trails are well marked and well maintained. There are some hills, and a few roots, but nothing major. These are hallowed grounds, and should be respected! I hiked around for about Four hours. However, if you’re just straight hiking, you will be done in nearly half that time. The only disappointing thing was, many of the historic placards are illegible and need to be replaced.

Such beautiful property and trails, and solemn reminder of the war what was fought on this ground. This property is well maintained. The trails are nice kept up with gravel. The longest loop is about 2 miles with moderate inclines. There's a pavilion at the end of the road into the park. There's several picnic tables in the shade and pit toilets. There is no tap water available here. Please be sure to plan ahead and bring water.

This is a fairly well kept Gordon County owned park. It is a Civil War historic site of the Battle of Resaca. Our family likes it because it is never crowded and has well marked and maintained trails that we can hike and bring our dogs as well. The terrain is diverse and there is plenty of open and wooded trails. The bathrooms are fairly clean and need a little attention.

Overshadowed by the not so far away Chickamauga battlefield maybe, with no historic remark signs nor monuments to be found here. Nicely maintained and well marked trails (a little bit difficult at spots) in both wooded and plain areas, inclined or flat. Some areas may hold water after the rain. Usually (always, maybe) quiet, with very few people to meet there. Actually quiet enough to loudly hear the neighboring I-75 noise at spots. There are several walking trails, maybe about 10 miles long in total. Sometimes close to the parking areas there are very helpful printed site maps to be...
