I visited on a Saturday, so the museum was closed. The Voyager restaurant was open until 2 pm, so I met a friend from Bakersfield here for lunch.
The menu was great. I arrived too late for breakfast but the lunch options were numerous, and tasty. Pricing was comparable to other restaurants and the view of the flightline is unobstructed. We were able to see two C-17 departures while having lunch.
The number of aircraft being stored here seemed to be much under the numbers I recalled from a few years ago.
I was a bit disoriented at first. The new highwsy passes this area to the north now. The old highway passed to the south.

The very friendly and informative female employee, informed us the museum does not exist other than the 3 aircraft you can freely view at the entrance, and they have been trying to get control of the site from google for years to correct the information.
