During a stop from Bakersfield to Las Vegas, we found this hidden gem in Mojave. The park itself is quite new and clean. There are picnic table and chairs next to the rotation rocket for our picnic lunch. There's a small restaurant next to the admin office/control tower called Voyager Restaurant for the pilots and people that work here. Through the restaurant you can get onto the tarmac to view all the cool planes up close. If you are lucky you can view a plane take-off/land up close on the runway too!    Read moreGreat, safe space to stop for snacks or lunch with kids. The park is pretty closed off from parking lot traffic and roads by well maintained bushes and it’s very clean and well-kept. Wish they had a bathroom but it seems easy enough to use the Voyager restaurant bathroom whether you’re eating there or not. We did order a French Dip sandwich with fruit while we were here and it was one of the tastiest I’ve had. I would come back for a rest stop if we’re ever driving through...
