Antioch Dunes National Wildlife Refuge — Attraction in California

The site it really concealed other than the sign that tells you that the dunes exist. GPS will get you mixed up on location of where the start is and definetly is tour based exclusively. Its a free two hour tour that you show up to the starting trail location and will be taken through a portion of the dunes with a guide and be given unique history insight about the location. This location exists to preserve the last bit of unique wildlife and plants that are left in the area and should be something to check out if you love botany or history. This is a very cool place . It was once open with out a fence around it and free to enter dirtbikes dunebuggys bicycle you name would come here to ride and drive for a day of jumping and climbing and crashing of the sand dune .
