Black Hawk Lake is a natural glacially-formed lake measuring 957 acres in area in Sac County, Iowa, at the eastern edge of the city of Lake View, Iowa in Viola and Wall Lake Townships. It exits through the oddly named "Ditch No. 57" to Indian Creek, a tributary of the North Raccoon River.

Just wondering.....if this is supposedly a "private property", (directing question to those who have attended the lake or someone who has more info) it's isn't open to the general public??? And if it is, is there entrance fees??? Need more info about this place. It looks cool, but don't wanna waste time going somewhere if I can't get in or gonna get in trouble for entering...

Blocked off and unavailable to the public at all do not go here the security at the location will have you car towed (didn't happen but the signs everywhere...
