Campana Ranch Winery — Attraction in California

Went to winery today because they had horses and dogs. Great for our grandkids who had something to look forward to while we were tasting. Steve and his wife are awesome and couldn’t have been nicer welcoming us to their ranch. Wine, horses and dogs!! Great combo! We connected on all levels and their small batches of wine were awesome! We had the place to ourselves with Steve and his wife and cherished every moment. Will be back in the future. We met Luna a blue eyed horse that was absolutely beautiful. INCREDIBLE wines. Found this place a few months back on a lark, and recently made the trek back out there to taste (and buy) more delicious wine. If you are truly into good wines, this place makes fantastic bottles of most varietals and in the most low-key, non touristy of locations - no middle aged, aggressively drunk humans here ;) There is a horse ranch, simple tasting shed, and plenty of beautiful nature to enjoy your wines in. I can't emphasize enough that for a winery that welcomes all to it's property (as opposed to those on an exclusive list) this is a hidden gem, as the wines are all top-notch and the ambiance is peaceful. My husband and I were driving around Saturday checking out some gorgeous wineries but they were all pretty touristy and busy. Campana Ranch Winery popped up on our google maps so we gave Steve a call and he said they had a little event going on but we were still welcome to come by and taste. OH MY GOODNESS!
