The Gaskill Brothers Stone Store Museum in Campo, CA, is a unique and interesting museum that offers visitors a glimpse into the history of the area. The museum is housed in a historic building that was once a general store and post office, and it has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Inside, visitors can explore a wide range of exhibits that showcase the history of the area and the role that the Gaskill Brothers played in the development of Campo. One of the highlights of the museum is the extensive collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the 19th and 20th centuries. It was fascinating to learn about the lives of the pioneers who first settled in the area and the challenges they faced. In addition to the historic exhibits, there are also displays about the natural history of the area, including the local flora and fauna. The museum has done an excellent job of presenting the information in an engaging and interactive way, making it accessible and interesting for visitors of all ages. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Gaskill Brothers Stone Store Museum in Campo, CA. It is a must-see attraction for history buffs, and even those who aren't typically interested in history will find something to enjoy here. The museum is well worth the visit, and I look forward to visiting again in the future. Enjoy!

Nice little store. There are 2 stories, you need to take the stairs outside to get to the second store. There are plenty of historical books inside the store. There was even a 'cold room' that seems like it was built inside the hillside to store food. The second floor has military history of the area, including buffalo soldiers and the battle of San Pasqual during the Mexican American war.

Cute little museum and if you are a history buff, totally your jam. Definely not a kid place but a grown-up place. Many old pictures and information of the settling of California. The main part is the original building when it first was a store. Perfect short pit stop if looking at the mountains in southern California.
