This is a breathtaking vantage point that is friendly to dogs, seniors, disabled persons, and children. Many points along this road offer beautiful vantage points and adventures, but this has to be the most comfortable for a diverse range of people and circumstances. The parking lot is a little weird, but is not usually full, however if it is you can park on the road it does not add too long of a walk to the view if it is needed. When in the parking lot you already have a beautiful view, clean bathrooms, covered!!! viewing areas which is a must in the summer for this area and extremely hard to find, and you are just as far from the outhouse door as you are from the rail to see the view. Trails available for those who are interested, and they veer off in both directions down the creek. (Sit ups, pull ups, push ups, monkey bars, balance beams etc). The white water gorge is further upstream (West) from the main parking area.
