home to talus caves, towering rock spires, and mountainous peaks, Pinnacles National Park is an underrated gem located only a couple hours south of San Francisco   Top Trails in Pinnacles National Park: ⛰️ Bear Gulch Cave to Rim Trail Loop - 1.9 mile loop trail through caves leading to Bear Gulch Reservoir with continuous views of rock spires & canyons   🦅 Condor Gulch Trail and High Peaks Trail Loop - 4.9 mile loop trail with views of Hawkins Peak & a top spot to view endangered California condors (can be looped with Moses Spring Trail to see the Reservoir)   🦇 Balconies Cave via Chaparral Trailhead - 2.6 mile out and back trail through talus caves with trail views of rock spires, cliffs & canyons (be sure to bring a headlamp and keep your eyes out for Western Mastiff bats!)   Is Pinnacles National Park on your list to visit?   #pinnacles #pinnaclesnationalpark #hiking #nationalpark #california #hikecalifornia

Nice viewpoint with wide vistas of the rocky peaks, but don’t stop here for too long — the views get much more mesmerizing as you continue farther up the trail. Still, it’s a great quick rest stop and a good chance to spot condors soaring above the cliffs!
