We reserved the group campsite for a family reunion for 6 nights. It was in a terrible neglected state. The grill for cooking was falling apart. There’s no way we could cook on it. Luckily we brought our own grill! There’s only one water spigot and you can’t hook a hose to it. We had to bring our own hose and use clamps to get it to work. There were 2 additional grills but one was lopsided so if you tried to cook on it, the food would slide off. There’s no grass just a dusty campsite. The good points are it is private and the tent sites were completely level for those tenting. There was some shade for the picnic tables and they were level. The fire pit was also nicely done and allowed a large group around it. For $180/ night we expected a better maintained campsite. This could be so much more if it was maintained, had some grass and more water spigots. The bathroom and shower wasn’t close you had to walk to the other campground to use it. Plus entrance had big potholes which made it difficult for pulling a boat or trailer. Please see pics, I am not exaggerating! Hopefully Jackson County Parks reads this and put some serious elbow grease into the group campsite at Emigrant Lake!

This county Park is a great area for families, it has a large day use area, a playground & nice restrooms. Campsites are available during the summer months, most are dry camping, but the park has a few RV sites with standard hookups. There is also an RV dump Station. Water levels fluctuate in this man-made Reservoir and due to drought [2021-2022] the water level is currently extremely low. This park has a waterside, too; check Jackson County Parks Oregon for hours of operation. Park has several large covered pavillions with picnic tables.

Not the greatest. They do have a nice play area for kids. The campsites had many many earwigs (little mostly harmless bugs) and the lake is low. The earwigs crawled into my firepit gas inlet and plugged it up. I had to disassemble the regulator to clean a dozen bugs out to fix it. Don't bring a dog! The burrs are in the millions and have to be cut out of dog fur. The sites were level and had all the regular amenities. But the only reason to stay here is to...
