I walk regularly at Empire Mine. The trails are well maintained, clearly signposted, and there are frequent maps. Some gentle hills, lots of level walking.

ย ย ย Read moreWe were truly surprised to see it has so much to offer for visitors. There is a whole museum on mining gold and their owners. They have a couple of well preserved heritage structures. The whole estate is picturesque and mesmerizing. Miners tour and estate tours were very entertaining and educational. We were amazed that this park has such deep history. Be ready to spend atleast 4-5 hours and make sure you wear comfortable and walking shoes and there is a bit of walk to go from one...

The grounds are sprawling with a gorgoues gardens, house pool, club house, gold rock mine & blacksmiths shop. All the old buildings remain. So very cool to see & touch the past up front & personal. I can't believe it was only $5 bucks 2 get in & so worth it!!! Its like u went back in time. So educational for kids as well. Very cool...
