Such a peaceful Grove area along the avenue of the Giants. You can't easily pull over but if you drive slow while no one is on the road you will be able to see how this Grove stands out from everything around it it's practically unmistakable. You will find yourself immersed within the redwoods there's just no way you don't. This has no little tables for little lunch or anything like that but you can't do that anyways along highway 101 you have to look for proper places to stop like tiny little picnic areas so...

Very tiny parking area, but a very nice park. Plenty of walking area. I confused this place for a different place I visited last time I was in the area, but it was well worth it!

Just a friendly reminder: Please! Clean up after yourself if you visit any park.

I did NOT see any bathrooms. Looked like a birthday party was going on in the front area (flat grassy patch)...

To really enjoy the Avenue of the Giants, leave Hwy 101 for about 30 miles of Hwy 254 and take your time to visit the many hiking and scenic areas, and quaint towns that parallel 101. There are at least 8 freeway access points for camping, hiking and picnicking areas, so you can make the excursion as long as you like!

I used to live it on avenue of the Giants in the redwood Forest is one of the most majestic amazing beautiful places you'll ever visit in your life and to get to live there it's just heaven sent. Nice Charles to walk on the river to go to place to bring your family amazing and the giant redwood forest groves.

Absolutely beautiful small grove off Avenue of the Giants. Small parking lot and picnic bench with short loop hikes into the grove. There are a few places where the trail is hard to follow, but you can't really get lost. It might be a good idea to avoid parking under the leaning tree.
