Fairly a decent venue, however, has it's problems. Today for an example we arrived with our daughter and two grandchildren. My wife brought a spacialy made sandwich for her strict diet following surgury. We ordered a pizza and drinks while watching the children play. After we ate a total of 4 slices of pizza I took my grandson to ride the go-carts while everyone else stayed in the play area. We had to wait a very long time with approx. 15 other riders in line because no one was working the cars. I called and asked if someone could come out for there were a lot of customers waiting. Upon finishing or ride we returned to our table where we found everything gone. Our 3/4 of a pizza, pitcher of Pepsi, our plates and cups and my wifes expensive sandwich were all missing. Upon inquiring I was told by a very nice employee that he threw our food away. I just looked at him and he said they'll make another pizza for us and get us another pitcher of drinks. We were obviously S.O.L. re: the sandwhich. Even thou we were ready to go we decided to go ahead and wait for the pizza. After 25 mins. my wife joked and asked what if they forgot our pizza. 5 mins. later we were told by the same employee that they actually did forget to make our pizza. He said it would be done in 20 additional minutes. While waiting I located the manager and told him about what happened but that I was NOT complaining about the employee, for he was very nice, just complaining about their policy of throwing away customers food that is paid for. He offered us free tokens and I declined explaining I didn't want anything extra just wanted to address the policy Then he said he'd talk to the employee and I said once again that it wasn't an issue with the worker, he was very nice, it's their policy that was not fair. Finally we received our pizza and left. 3 miles out we realized we were missing a very important, and a must have, binkie (a childs pacifier with a little stuff animal attached). We returned and found the employee who threw our food away and he said when he took our items he found the binkie and turned it into lost and found. I have no idea why during our numerous contacts after he found the binkie why he never brought up the fact the he had our toy. The whole experience made it for a bad visit but I'm sure we'll return...
Read moreUgh. I spent about $50 for my niece and I to come here to celebrate her birthday. First ride we hit-the race cars- she and I wait in line for 10 to 15 minutes only to be told we're in the wrong line...even though there was no one in that line (or operating That entrance to it when we got there.) So we have to go to the back of the other line...try explaining to an 8 year old why we were almost next but, now have to watch people that just walked up go ahead of us. Cool. Then we hit up the put put but, had a group of 5 grown men trying to start on the same whole we were still playing. Great people suck. We move on. We head over to the pirate boats....crickets. Is it closed? No...They have these 15 year olds running around trying to operate rides and just...walking away. Awesome. We walked inside and found someone who agreed to let us on the ride. Neat. Then we walked inside to use the bumper cars. Again...not a sole in site. Another teenager walks over and begins marking off our wrist bands. Since my niece and I were the only ones on the ride I asked him if the other bumper cars were just going to sit in our way the whole time. First, he walked away...then he said "Uh no they'll move around." They didn't. We had to just spin in loops because the entire course was full of empty cars. We ended up going back to the race cars again, but it was operating differently this time. The first time when the ride came to an end we were rushed out of our cars...this time we were evidently supposed to wait for them to start the next group before we got out. I didn't notice until I was already out of the car but 4 separate guys started yelling at me to stay seated. Even after I clearly responded they kept doing it, almost like a chant, and everyone was starting at us. I lost my cool and said "yeah dude I get it shut the f$*% up." I was done. I walked inside to talk to a "Manager." Some young girl walks up with 2 other employees who were awkwardly just standing there to back her up I guess. She just told me off. She had to win. Great... you win...IDGAF! I drove 2 hours to come spend a day with my niece I never see and spent my grocery money for the week on an afternoon I'd rather forget. Honestly, just so...
Read moreLong post... My husband and I brought our kids here for my daughter's 9th birthday. Birthday girl requested to come here for the go carts. We signed waivers at the door, went to the counter to choose a package for wristbands. We asked if the 3 kids were big enough to ride the go carts and the lady at the register said yes. As my husband was choosing the package, I went to the kiosk to get 4 game cards. Total was $120. I tried to pay by card but the kiosk said no card payments for purchase over $100. So I paid cash, had no other choice! Once my husband pays for everything they started heading out towards the go carts and suddenly they stop him and tell him my daughter (the birthday girl) couldn't ride the go carts because her hair was too long. Our hair is long because of our religion and i explained that to the manager and she just said sorry but no. I said ok I'll wrap it up in a bun and they still said no. We asked for a refund right away because we're so upset at this point. They refund the package payment but not my game card purchase. The manager said she can't refund cash payments from the kiosk. I said well refund it from your registers and then when the person with keys to the kiosk opens it up eventually, you can balance your drawer at that time. She said no and to email her boss. I emailed him and still haven't heard anything back!! We left discriminated against and not getting refunded for something we didn't use and will never use in the future! Do not come to this business! Boomers does not discriminate...
