Beautiful lake, amazing day but this was my problem all the campers had set their stiff in the day use on the shores. So when my family and i went to find a day use it looked like it was full because of the campers "claiming" their day spots.(especially when they dont show up) There were so many kayaks and gazebos set up we barely found a spot. Maybe day use should be meant for day use cars not people who are camping. Plus there were tents set up in the day use like people were camping there too. How are people who pay for day use suppose to find a spot if they are already taken. If not the lake was beautiful perfect temperature. I enjoyed a beautiful day...

Cost was $8 for my car. I came in through Sly Park. It is a good distance from civilization and there is only one small store and eatery nearby so if you're driving here bring everything you need.

We ended up only hiking a short distance and finding a spot off the trail to setup blankets and have a picnic.
