Beautiful Beach! This beach is a gem. It is more protected from the southern and northern originating winds than other beaches. It is located in a large cove with a creek that runs down through it. This beach can be popular during the summer months. Dogs on leash allowed. Tip: Wear secure shoes on the trail down to the ocean it is down hill and has a small drop off from the trail to the beach. Also be very careful when near the ocean! Even the smallest waves can catch a person off guard. Be wary about the quick moving and sometime...

Was supposed to be one of the highlights of our trip, and this did not let us down at all. The biggest regret is not getting time to cover the 2.5-miles Ecological Staircase, so requesting all to plan it accordingly not to miss it in any cost. Other than that, the Headlands Loop is easy to cover and it was full of flowers when we visited. Then comes the cove with the view of the bridge. And last but not the least, the ecological greenery of the pygmy forest is another surprise on...

Ladies and gentlemen.....this was a first for my girlfriend and I. And let me tell you this place is awesome. We drove 3hrs to get here, and it was worth every bit. Neither of us has experienced a sunset and they are actually quite amazing. I took a small propane grill and whipped up two large porterhouse steaks with garlic shrimp, corn, and baked potatoes. Dinner watching the sunset....lol I did pretty good...

We only took the short trail to the beach, but it was a very nice little beach. It's protected a bit by bluffs on each side and lots of sand to run and play on, as well as the creek coming down to the ocean. Pretty views of the bridge. I'm excited to come back without the dog to hike the east trails up the ecological staircase trail.

Its a small and beautiful beach. Access to the beach is by steps made from parking lot. There are couple of trails as well from the parking lot. Beach is covered by hills on two sides, which makes the place less windy & allows only the breeze from the ocean. An ideal place for photos & sunset viewing.
