It is one of two lakes that are part of the Buena Vista Aquatic Recreation Area southwest of Bakersfield. The lake is located on the lakebed of the former Buena Vista Lake.

Es un buen lugar muy espacioso, tiene buen mantenimiento, tiene vegetación, el único problema es que no tiene regaderas para bañarse Serca, también se tardar mucho para cobrar, y aunque se reserve con tiempo es muy larga la espera, deberían plantar mucho más árboles y poner más mesas porqué siempre que acampa uno es en familia y...
