It is just wonderful! Vast amounts of green-green grass and the sweet smell of the bevinning if the foithills that lead to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Here at Loomis Basin Community park, you are free to enjoy the sights and sounds and smells that this basin has to offer in its' native state. The ravine channels one side of the park. There is a well-maintained trek that is rather expansive znd truly a glorious walk or bike in the beautiful outdoors. Today, I watched a professional photo shoot using the cascading acre of blue lupine as their back drop; surely they will be wonderful photos on that unique background. There are horses also, with a stable at the south end of the park. If you get a chance, do go and visit this park, you will not be...

Clean area. The playground is close enough to keep an eye on your kids & it's far enough away so you can watch your other kid play ball. The restroom has a stall for handicapped folks, but what I noticed is how clean & well-stocked it was. I go With my family to watch our grand-child, child, nephew & great nephew as he plays ball. He's an excellent pitcher, catcher, short stop & 2nd baseman. He's an incredible boy of 10. I can only imagine how wonderful his life will be. Lots of space with 2 baseball playing fields & a working scoreboard. YAY go, you won't be...

My family from the early '80s until '93 , would hold what they called a 'Ball Bash' here every summer. Not only is the park split into two separate sections by King Road, But one of the few parks that actually has a horse corral on the grounds in the Sacramento area. As a kid, my absolute favorite part was walking along the creek that runs through the park, and catching crayfish, and frogs. Probably the best park in the Sacramento area, and unequivocally the best in Placer County for its intended features,...

Big, open and lots of things to do here. We especially love the creek and the walking trails. We finally got to see the salmon spawning this year. Also if you come during/for a little league game then the snack bar is great. 6-25 Back out here again. This time The North side of the park has been redone. And has a barbecue, pit cornhole and a very nice relaxing area.
