I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it's cool to be able to reach the bottom now. But on the other hand, there's nothing rewarding or adventurous about reaching a spot that's accessible to everyone now. Back in my day, if you wanted to reach the base of a waterfall, you had to work for it. Also, encountering other hikers completely ruins the vibe and experience. You have no opportunity to truly enjoy it and take it in, because you already have another group of hikers waiting behind you to get their pictures.

Wonderful place to hike, just south of Phantom Falls. Its a great place to see a waterfall. You can go here during after a rain storm and see the waterfalls at their full beauty. I also like coming here during a super bloom, with it’s beautiful array of flowers.

Go right now (April) when the flowers are in bloom! Takes about an hour and a half one way if your an average paced hiker...great place to picnic but skip the restrooms if you can.

Ravine falls is easily accessible and is only about a 1.25 mile hike from the parking lot. A small decent down into the canyon brings you to the base of the falls where there is a small pond. Worth a visit and you will pass by Ravine Falls if on your way to...

Did not disappoint, enjoyed relaxing here, was cool through the ravine, plenty of shade with a trickle of water 💦 for a fall. Birds were 🎶 . Peace and quiet. Exactly what we needed. Please pack out what you packed in. Leave no trace, so the next...
