Plenty of parking here to access multiple trail options. Good place to launch a long trail run on either the Skyline to the Sea trail or the Bay Area Ridge Trail. Plenty of roadside support options for vehicle-mounted crew helping out with a Skyline to the Sea effort that starts here.

Just a great trail surrounded by trees and fern moss. There’s limited parking due to covid-19 but the trail appears to be still open. See signs and pictures attached.

While the area offers good hiking trail and nice views, and the hills are very user friendly, the fact is that the "pet friendly" status is nearly false advertising since such a small portion of the trail system actually allows pets, that it might as well not be. Unless you're willing to brave being caught vs...

This just spot on Hwy 9, a very beautiful spot, with a great road. Unfortunately a riding buddy had an accident. We still had cell service. The medical response was pretty fast and the first responders were very competent. The CHP was very helpful. We really do live in a great community and just need to take time to...
