I was truly amazed by 17-Mile Drive.

UPDATE: Spyglass range has been redone. My favorite course to play. Range has mats but good enough to warm-up. Great grill across the street from Pro shop. Caddies not required but helpful. Great staff and Excellent service. Spyglass is harder to play then Pebble My 3 rules for Spy: - Ball drifts towards the water, just like Pebble and Spanish Bay. - Utilize gravity, let the ball roll to the hole and always stay low to the pin. Too high a lie adds 2 or 3 strokes. Always approach greens, this applies to Pebble, Spanish Bay and Del Monte. - Grass around the fringe of the green will stop your ball if it's long. Pop it onto the green otherwise you add another stroke. I don't walk Spy, too hilly. 4.5 hours is usual time to play this course Bunkers are deep especially on #3 and fairways are tighter then Pebble. If you 3 putt, pull your ball. Don't be the person to slow the course down

Excellent, challenging layout, wide landing areas for drives, but very tight greens that require more accurate placement and distance calculation (wind, wet, thicker air, roll, etc.) 2nd shot into the narrow green at #4 is daunting. Iceplants down a shallow ravine on left, bunker on right requires precision shot to land in a very narrow patch. Sand in the bunkers tends to be fluffy, but excess moisture in the air might make the sand wet. Staff are polite and accommodating. Pace of play walking with a push cart was about 4.5 hours at a nice, leisurely pace. No pressure from behind. The staff will wipe down your clubs and power blow all the grass off your shoes after you finish. Would love to play here again in the sunshine next time.

Great bucket list golf especially the front 9 which reminded me of Spanish Bay (haven’t played Pebble Beach). There is a driving range here and the food stall area is quite good also, which we had before the round. What makes this course hard is there are no bail out areas on the approach shots. And the pin placements are tough, as well as the rough around the greens - actually the rough everywhere. You really need to know the course to play it well. Walking is fine and not too tough for someone who walks all the time. My playing partners had a cart and due to the soggy conditions, it was cart path only which is challenging.

Pebble Beach Golf Course is an absolute masterpiece, blending golfing excellence with breathtaking natural beauty. The coastal scenery is nothing short of awe-inspiring, with the crashing waves and rugged cliffs creating a dramatic backdrop to the game. What truly amazed me was the abundance of deer, gracefully roaming the course, seemingly unperturbed by the golfers. Their presence added a charming and unique touch to the experience. Playing at Pebble Beach is a testament to the harmonious coexistence of nature and sport. It's a golfing paradise like no other.

Incredible course. The first few holes play near the coast and we could hear the harbor seals barking. Reminiscent of Pinehurst with touch of Augusta thrown in for good measure once you get to #7. Highly recommend our caddie, Ian Manzo who was proven right again and again reading greens for our whole group. Great dude and a fun walk. Greens were in great shape and incredibly fast
