Very nice place to go cool off. Easy to get to and alot of cool trails that lead to lots of good swimming locations. Would be alot nicer if there wasn't an old man that harasses you about everything that looks wrong about what your driving or why you stopped. I am an evacuated person from one of the many fires currently burning in northern California and placed a call to the owner of the mobile home park at location and although I haven't stayed there they did return my phone call in a very timely manner and offered to do what they could to try to help me out. I thank them very much for that it was comforting knowing there are still people out there willing to help out. Plus they have some really cool old toys there also well I call them tools but most would call them toy's.

Beautiful place to take pictures, lots of people go here for fishing and boating. Not that kid friendly due to the dangerous nature of the river. North side of the park needs some attention from the groundskeepers and from us people that come to this beautiful place, there’s trash and lots of beer cans laying around. Don’t forget to pick up after yourselfs, always remember the damage that trash causes to the wild life.

The campground is nice and spacious between sites. It was hot when we stayed in May and with no electricity, it was kind of a sweaty night, but in the morning it was nice. Access to the river is a bit of a hike through the trees and tall grass, to the neighboring park. There may be access at different times of the year but when we were there, the river was up to the banks.

This place is awesome! I go here with my family a lot during the summer. I tried to swim to the island in the middle and almost drowned. I didn't make it because the current swept me downstream too fast. Swimming back, one of my arms shut down on me and I had to flip on my back and kick myself to the shore. I hear of people fishing here but I've never had any luck. I always scream when driving over the bridge. It's usually very clean on the sand but inside the water in the middle, it's not clean, people in the community tell me I probably had a very high chance of dieing when I swam out because there's poles and all kinds of stuff in the deeper area of the river. Hopefully no one tried or tries to jump off the bridge. They might end up...

Great location to take the family , the staff is great and works hard to maintain the park daily it is $31 a night but well worth it bc they put the $ toward maintaing the park (also was told some updates are coming I'll be watching for :) ) , bathrooms are always clean , nice hot water in the showers if you let them run for a few minutes and right on the river. Great biodiversity as well we have seen alot of birds as well as a few small grey foxs. Let's keep this place looking good and please just show some respect for the park and staff by keeping it clean while you enjoy the park. Plenty of walking trails and located on the river. Also across the street is a park for...
